The partnership contract came to the scheduled end…
OnePlus will no longer manufacture McLaren versions of its smartphones later on. The company and the British automobile manufacturer have finished their partnership, a McLaren representative has affirmed to Android Authority after reports about their split came out. Word began circumventing that the two were going separate ways, the reason is OnePlus is not listed as a Formula 1 partner on McLaren’s site.
Mclaren representative revealed to the publication when asked:
“Our partnership with OnePlus, which came to its scheduled conclusion recently, has been a highly successful collaboration between two iconic and innovative brands. Since the start of this partnership in 2018, OnePlus has been a supportive, valued partner and we wish them well and hope to see them in the future.”
The rep didn’t clarify why the two organizations are done cooperating, yet it seems like they chose not to renew their contract after their collaboration finished. OnePlus’ McLaren telephones are generally beefed up renditions of their counterparts. The OnePlus 6T McLaren features 10GB of RAM rather than simply 6GB or 8GB, for example, while the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren has 12GB of RAM and 5G network, which the standard 7T Pro doesn’t have.
At CES2020, OnePlus also came up a phone called Concept One that is clad in papaya-tinted leather that McLaren utilizes for some of its cars. Since it’s as yet a concept phone and the organizations’ partnership has finished, we may never have the device advance toward racks.
